Last night, a package detonated at a FedEx sorting facility in Schertz, which is between Austin and San Antonio. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured. However, investigators have found a second package bomb at the facility that hadn’t detonated. It had been mailed from Austin to an address in Austin. Perhaps, since investigators had told the public that the first three bombs had not come from FedEx, UPS or USPS, the bomber was trying fool somebody into opening it, thinking it was safe. Let’s just hope they can get a solid lead from this device. This shit is getting old.

Hope this is what the investigators need to solve this!

I hope so too. I’m getting tired of looking for tripwires. I know that the odds of my getting caught up in this are extremely small, but they aren’t zero.

When they’re this frequent, they tend to get caught pretty quickly, although a handful of bombers like this have got away or eluded capture for a long time if they quit for a while. They’re hard to catch because they tend to be fairly intelligent, organized, and careful.
The really slow ones are the most elusive, like the Unabomber.

Yes, I recall being in Baltimore/Washington for a few days while that Beltway Sniper was active - - I was dating a woman who lived there, and she was very freaked out about it.
Like you say, the odds are low - -but they’re not zero. Stay safe!

Or copycat bomber, which is another sick psychosis I’ll never understand.

Thanks. I remember that Beltway thing clearly. My brother-in-law is a gas pump mechanic who works in that area. That one ended up getting cracked by a cop who just saw something that looked out of the ordinary.
